Respiratory relief for the whole family — from infants to adults, in natural supplements and OTC formulas.
Five formulas across two categories — natural supplements for gentle, everyday support, and clinical OTC drugs when the cough needs real intervention. Matched to age, symptom, and format preference.
A gentle, grape-flavored formula safe for infants as young as 2 months. Made with organic agave syrup and ivy leaf extract to soothe cough and loosen mucus. No drugs, no dyes, no artificial sweeteners, gluten-free — developed and recommended by pediatricians.
A traditional honey-based remedy for dry cough and irritated throat. Blends bee honey, propolis, eucalyptus, elderberry, and mullein to soothe irritation and support immune health during seasonal changes. Adults and children 12+.
Clinical-strength adult cough relief. Temporarily controls cough due to throat and bronchial irritation from the common cold, while loosening mucus and chest congestion. Dextromethorphan HBr 20mg + Guaifenesin 300mg per 5 mL dose.
Pediatric cold and cough relief for children 6 and older. Helps temporarily relieve cough and upper respiratory symptoms — runny nose, itching, sneezing, and itchy watery eyes — caused by throat irritation. Half the active-ingredient strength of the adult formula.
The NF formula in a softgel for people who prefer pills to syrup. Controls cough, thins and loosens mucus, and relieves bronchial passages from common-cold irritation. Higher guaifenesin dose than the syrups for thicker mucus relief.
Respiratory illness doesn't respect household lines. A toddler's dry cough, a teenager's cold, and an adult's bronchial congestion all land at the same kitchen table — usually within days of each other. Histiacil is built as one family of products, formulated across life stages so you don't have to switch brands to cover everyone.
The Pediatric formula uses organic agave and ivy leaf — gentle enough for infants as young as 2 months, no dextromethorphan, no artificial sweeteners. The NAT honey syrup handles dry throat and immune support for older kids and adults. The NF line — syrup for children, syrup for adults, and softgels — delivers clinical-strength dextromethorphan and guaifenesin when the cough is productive and the mucus is real.
Two lines, same logic: start natural when you can, step up to OTC when you need to. Same brand, same trust.
Match the formula to the age and the symptom — no guesswork required.
Start with Histiacil Pediatric. Organic agave and ivy leaf soothe cough and loosen mucus with no drugs, dyes, or artificial sweeteners. Grape flavor makes dosing easy.
Step up to NF Children Syrup for cold-driven cough with runny nose, sneezing, or congestion. Clinical-strength dextromethorphan + guaifenesin dosed for kids 6 and older.
NF Adulto Syrup for active coughs with chest congestion. Higher guaifenesin dose than the children's formula to thin heavier mucus.
NF Softgels — same dextromethorphan, even higher guaifenesin. For adults 12+ who'd rather swallow a capsule than a spoonful.
Respiratory illness moves through a household in days. Histiacil is formulated so you don't need three brands to cover three ages — or switch from natural to clinical strength when symptoms escalate.
Pediatric and NAT use natural actives — agave, ivy, honey, propolis, eucalyptus. No dextromethorphan, no guaifenesin.
The Pediatric formula is one of the rare options on the US market cleared for infants as young as 2 months.
The NF line delivers full OTC-strength dextromethorphan + guaifenesin for productive coughs with real mucus.
Cover the whole household from one trusted line instead of juggling three different brands.
Every Histiacil SKU has a different active ingredient and dosing schedule. Always follow the specific instructions printed on the package for the product you have in hand.
Use the dosing cup, syringe, or spoon included with each product. Kitchen spoons vary in size and can lead to under- or over-dosing — especially dangerous for infants.
Do not combine two Histiacil products (or any cough medicine) without consulting a pediatrician or pharmacist, especially with children. Each formula is dosed to work alone.
Important: If cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache — stop and consult a healthcare provider. These are signs the cough may not be a simple cold.
Dietary supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.
OTC drug products. Refer to each package's Drug Facts label for complete dosing, warnings, and contraindications.
The NF Syrups and Softgels are not appropriate for infants. The Pediatric supplement is the only Histiacil product tested and recommended for children under 6.
Dextromethorphan-containing products (all NF SKUs) must not be taken with or within 2 weeks of stopping MAOI antidepressants. Ask a doctor or pharmacist if unsure.
Cough lasts more than 7 days, returns, or occurs with rash, fever, or persistent headache. These may be signs of a more serious condition.
